Controlling How Access Moves in a Record

By default, Access moves to the next field when you press Enter in Datasheet view. This works great when you are entering data because you generally enter each field in a record before you move to the next record.

However, if you are reviewing an existing table and perhaps changing just the contents of one field in each record, you might prefer to have Access move to the next record when you press Enter.
