INTRODUCTION

PowerPoint inserts a default bullet in front of bulleted lists, but you can customize the bullet and change its shape or picture. For example, you might use your company logo as a bullet point, or use arrows or check marks instead.

TIP

Changing the Bullet Color

You can use the Color drop-down list in the Bullets and Numbering dialog box to change the color of your bullets. Click the drop-down arrow, and then click the color you want to apply. Be sure to choose a color that complements your slide design.

To further customize the bullet style, click the Customize button.

The Symbol dialog box opens. Select a font from the Font drop-down list.

Click a bullet type and click OK to close the Symbol dialog box, and then click OK again to close the Bullets and Numbering dialog box.

PowerPoint applies the customized bullet to the list.
