Reading and Handling E-mail Messages 66 Finding a Message 1. To begin searching, click the Find button in the main Outlook toolbar. The Find bar is displayed under the toolbar. 2. Type the text you want to search by, such as the name of the sender or the text in the subject line. 3. Outlook searches in the current folder by default. To select another folder, click the down ar- row next to the Search In drop-down list and specify where to search. INTRODUCTION If you cannot find a message by scrolling or sorting, you can search for it. You can search on any number of criteria including the subject, the sender name, the receipt date, and more. If you have many messages or if you received a message a long time ago, search to find it.
