Saving a Document

Click the Save button on the Standard toolbar; the Save As dialog box opens with a default name for the file.

Click the My Documents icon on the Places bar, or use the Save in drop-down list to move through the folder structure to save the file where you want.

Type a name for the document in the File Name field (initially, the filename defaults to the first line of text in the document) and click the Save button.

The document is saved; the filename you assigned now appears in the title bar.
