Moving Around in Outlook

Click Mail on the Outlook bar to view the default Mail options.

Mail options are displayed. To view the default Calendar options, click Calendar on the Outlook bar.

Calendar options are displayed. To view the default Contacts options, click Contacts on the Outlook bar.

INTRODUCTION

Outlook manages many different folders for your email and other information. You can access these folders by clicking them in the Folder list or by using the Outlook bar. The Outlook bar is divided into sections that focus on the following: Outlook Shortcuts, Folder List, Notes, Tasks, Contacts, Calendar, and Mail.


TIP

Outlook Bar

You can decrease the Outlook bar display buttons so that you can see more options available to each Outlook task. Click the heavy blue bar above the Mail button and drag it larger (up) or smaller (down) to view more or less of the Outlook bar buttons.


Contacts options are displayed. To view the default Tasks options, click Tasks on the Outlook bar.

Tasks options are displayed. To view the default list of Outlook options, click Folder List on the Outlook bar.

The Folder list is displayed. To view the default Notes options, click Notes on the Outlook bar.
