Part 1. Getting Started with Office

Part 1. Getting Started with Office

You need to know some fundamental things about Microsoft Office before you start working with its applications. The tasks in this part will introduce you to the basics of Microsoft Office 2003 and are common to all Microsoft Office applications. If you learn how to perform these tasks in one Office application, you can perform them the same way in all Office applications.

Before you begin, click the Start button on your Windows desktop and select All Programs to ensure that Microsoft Office is installed on your hard disk (you should see a Microsoft Office command in the menu, which opens a submenu containing the various Office programs you installed).
