Part 5. Formatting Documents

Part 5. Formatting Documents

There are all types of ways you can format your documents in Microsoft Word. For example, you can insert a page break and start text on a new page, insert a section break and have double columns in a portion of your document, or add triple columns to your entire document and create a pamphlet.

In addition to these formatting techniques, you can change your page margins or simply center text on a page so you don't have to change the document margins. If you want to print a draft copy of a report to your colleagues but let them know it is not finished, you can add a watermark that says “Draft” across each printed page. You can even add comments in the document (and print them) for your colleagues to review.
