Chapter 39. Publisher Essentials > Using the Design Gallery

Using the Design Gallery

In addition to template publications, Publisher includes design objects, which are smaller objects typically included in a larger publication. Typical design objects are calendars, coupons, and logos. You can use any saved design object in a publication to spare yourself the hassle of re-creating an object for each publication or tediously copying objects from one publication to another.

After creating a custom design object, you can save it as an object in the Design Gallery. Do this for objects you use repeatedly, such as a company logo, your postal indicia, and reply coupons. When you save these in the Design Gallery, they're there to use anytime you need them. You can also modify ready-made Design Gallery objects and save them as new Design Gallery objects.
