Chapter 39. Publisher Essentials > Customizing Publisher Options

Customizing Publisher Options

Publisher can store information about you and your company and use it to populate publications with your name, the name of your business, contact details, and even a logo. By saving this personal information, you can automatically add accurate information to new publications without tedious (and possibly error-prone) retyping. Publisher allows you to create and save up to four sets of personal information, each of which can also include a custom color scheme.

TIP FROM

Publisher uses four labels for saved personal information sets: Primary Business, Secondary Business, Other Organization, and Home/Family. You can't change these assigned names, but you can store any information you want in each one. If you create publications for your church, your little league, and the Ferret Fanciers Club of West Wenatchee, you can store information for each one—just remember which group is associated with each personal information set.
