Formatting 3D Charts

Formatting 3D charts offers a few different options from 2D charts. On a 3D-column chart, for example, you can format the front, side, and top of the column because Excel allows you to fill flat surfaces. Figure 22.31 shows the default format of a clustered column with a 3D effect. This chart is used as the starting point to walk through some of the important elements in formatting a 3D chart in the following sections.
