Printing Your Worksheets

When you’re satisfied with the way your worksheet looks in Print Preview, you’re ready to send it to your printer. The quickest way to print is to click the tab for the worksheet you want to print and then click the Print button. This sends the worksheet off to the printer, no questions asked. To print more than one worksheet or set additional printing preferences, follow these steps:

1.
Click the tab for the worksheet you want to print. Ctrl+click tabs to print additional worksheets. (To print all the worksheets in the workbook, you can skip this step.)

2.
Open the File menu and choose Print (or press Ctrl+P). The Print dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 10.9.

Figure 10.9. Enter your printing preferences in the Print dialog box.

3.
To print all the worksheets in the workbook, select Entire Workbook. Excel prints all worksheets that contain entries.

4.
To print one or more pages of the selected worksheets, select Page(s) under Print Range and enter the page numbers to specify the range in the From and To boxes.

5.
To print more than one copy, specify the desired number of copies under Copies.

6.
You can click the Properties button to enter additional printer settings, including the print quality. After entering the desired settings, click OK to return to the Print dialog box.

7.
Click OK to start printing.
