Changing an Object’s Appearance

Objects typically are made up of a thin black line with white or gray fill inside it. If you want to add color to an object, or change its line thickness or color, you must format the object. There are three ways to display the Format dialog box for an object:

  • Right-click the object and choose Format Object (where Object is the type of graphic object).

  • Click the object, open the Format menu and choose Object, or press Ctrl+1.

  • Double-click the object.
