Single-User Versus Multiuser Mode

I have discovered there are certain tasks I want to perform in QuickBooks that are not available to me in the multiple-user environment. For example, I can’t back up my company file. Also I can’t delete list items. Which tasks are limited to either single or multiple-user mode?

Certain features in QuickBooks can only be performed in single-user mode. When using QuickBooks in a multiuser environment, you will need to switch to single-user mode to accomplish these tasks:
