CPA Tip: Memorizing Depreciation Transactions

The process of memorizing transactions doesn’t have to be limited to monetary events such as writing checks. You can memorize other transactions that occur frequently or repetitively as well.

For example, if you record your depreciation expense monthly and the amount you record for depreciation is the same amount, why not create a scheduled, memorized transaction that is automatically entered in your QuickBooks file each month?
