Memorizing Transactions

In a way, QuickBooks memorizes everything you do. The QuickFill feature that automatically fills in the name of a customer or supplier, item, or employee as soon as you begin typing is a form of memorization based on the stored lists of all of your customers, vendors, employees, and items.

You can take this memorization process a step further and memorize a particular transaction, such as an invoice for particular items that one customer orders frequently, or a check for a contractor who works for you regularly, or any other transaction that occurs frequently.
