Printing Checks

When you write checks in QuickBooks, you indicate whether you want to print the check immediately (by clicking the Print option at the top of the window), print it at some future date (by checking the To be printed box), or not print it at all (by not choosing either print option).

If you have indicated that you want checks to be printed, QuickBooks provides you with a list in your Reminder window of the outstanding checks that are waiting to be printed. Don’t overlook this task! Creditors won’t look too favorably on someone who says he entered the information for the check in QuickBooks weeks ago but forgot to print the check.
