Using the QuickBooks Inventory Features

If you choose to use QuickBooks to keep track of your inventory, you will find it is a luxury to know that every single item of your inventory is accounted for on an individual basis. At any time, you can request a report of all inventory items in stock or a complete listing of all items on order.

With the QuickBooks reorder feature, you can indicate a point at which new stock needs to be ordered for each inventory item. Then, when sales of your inventory indicate that quantities are running low, you receive a reminder from the program that it is time to reorder.
