Income: Your Company’s Bread and Butter

Have you ever filed an income tax return? I know you have, so this is a safe question. Think back to one of your personal tax returns. On the front page of the return you list different types of income, such as wages from your job, interest income, prize winnings, and so on.

If accounts are being discussed, each one of these types of income might be considered an income account—just a separate description for the different kinds of income you list on your tax return.
