About the Technical Editors

Brian Kennemer has worked in the Microsoft Project world for more than six years. He currently works for QuantumPM (www.quantumpm.com), a provider of enterprise portfolio management products and service solutions as well as installation and integration services for Project 2002 and Project Server. Prior to working at QuantumPM, Brian was a program manager for Pacific Edge Software, where he helped design and support Pacific Edge’s project portfolio management system, Project Office. He has also worked for The Boeing Company, where he developed a Project 98–based work management system for tracking work done in the manufacturing of the 767 and 747 jetliners. Microsoft has recognized his knowledge of Project by making him a member of the MVP program for the past three years. He is also active in the MPUG as a charter officer in the Puget Sound chapter of the group and as a columnist for the MPUG newsletter. Brian lives near Seattle, Washington, with his wife, Alicia, his daughter, Alivia, and his two sons, Riley and Jesse.

Henry Staples is a systems consultant in the Washington, DC, area. He has nearly 10 years of experience in the software development field and several years of project management experience. Lately, he has developed a training program for his employer, and he continues to teach classes on Microsoft Project. His notable technical editing projects include books on Microsoft Project and several books on HTML and other Web-related technologies. When he’s not flipping bits, Henry can be found kneading dough in the kitchen or barreling down a mountainside on his bike.
