Moving Around--Viewing, Zooming, and Panning 37 Scroll and Zoom Using Microsoft IntelliMouse You have the option to toggle the behavior of the IntelliMouse wheel by either scrolling up and down a drawing page, or zooming in and out of a drawing page. Plain English Toggle --Refers to optional functionality. A lot of commands can be toggled on or off with check boxes or option buttons, as well as buttons on a toolbar. In this case, the Microsoft IntelliMouse can toggle between scrolling vertically through a document, or zooming in and out of a document by the use of the CTRL key and the mouse wheel. To scroll up or down or zoom in and out of a drawing page, do the following: · To scroll up a drawing page, rotate the IntelliMouse wheel forward. To scroll down, rotate the Intellimouse wheel backward. · To zoom in or out of the page, hold down the CTRL key as you rotate the IntelliMouse wheel forward or backward. · To expand an outline, point to a heading, hold down the SHIFT key, and rotate the IntelliMouse wheel forward. To collapse an outline, point to a heading, and hold down the SHIFT key as you rotate the Intellimouse wheel backward. To change the default behavior of the IntelliMouse wheel, follow these steps: 1. 2. Click the Options command on the Tools menu. On the General tab of the Options dialog box, toggle the check box labeled Zoom on Roll with IntelliMouse, under the General Options category.
