Searching for Specific Shapes with the Find Shape Command

Searching for shapes is an easy way to locate shapes without opening existing Visio stencils, therefore saving you time. The Find Shape command searches the stencils that are already installed. If you have an Internet connection, it also searches the Web for Visio shapes, including new shapes, shapes that have been updated since you installed Microsoft Visio, and shapes created by other companies.

Tip

Other sources for various Visio shapes can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/office/visio/techinfo/partners.htm.
