Sending Messages Directly from Word and Other Office Applications

With Office XP installed on your computer, you don't necessarily need to have Outlook open to send e-mail. Suppose you have a document in Word, a workbook in Excel, a presentation in PowerPoint, or a database in Access and you want to send it to someone by e-mail. One way to do that is to create a message in Outlook, insert the appropriate Office file, and send the message. A simpler way is to send it directly from the original application.
