Chapter 11. Managing Tasks > Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

Tasks

When you use the Task form to create a task, you can enter a date and time for a Reminder. If you set a Due Date for the task, Outlook automatically enters the same date and time in the Reminder box. If you want to be reminded about the task some time ahead of the Due Date, you can change the date and time in the Reminder box.

Outlook provides reminders only for tasks in the default Tasks folder. If you save tasks in folders other than the default Tasks folder, Outlook doesn't display reminders for those tasks.
