Assigning Tasks to Other People

So far, this chapter has described how you can use Outlook to keep track of your own tasks. You also can use Outlook to create tasks you want to assign to someone else. Although Outlook uses the word "assign," you can't actually assign a task to someone else. Instead, you can offer a task to someone, with that person having the option of accepting or declining the task.

You can offer a task to someone else in two ways:
