Creating Conditional Rules

If you create several rules, Outlook normally executes the rules in the order in which they're listed in the Apply Rules in the Following Order box. You also can create a set of rules in such a way that one rule executes under certain conditions and a different rule executes under other conditions. For example, you might want to create rules that

  • Copy all messages addressed directly to you into a specific folder

  • Copy all messages that have specific subject text to a different folder
