Using OLAP PivotTables

Excel's OLAP PivotTable contains four drop areas for you to place data elements (see Figure 30.10). The center drop zone, labeled Drop Data Items Here, is reserved for placing measure fields from your cube. You place dimension fields in the Page, Row, and Column drop areas. While working with OLAP PivotTables, Excel also displays a dockable PivotTable toolbar and a PivotTable Field List. If the PivotTable Field List is not visible, you can click the Show Field List button on the PivotTable toolbar.
