Chapter 7. Working with Hyperlinks > Creating Text Hyperlinks

Creating Text Hyperlinks

Text hyperlinks are great for listing your favorite Web sites. You can create a list of text entries that describe the site to which the hyperlink connects. The descriptive text can be selected and then turned into a hyperlink for the described destination.

Another advantage of using text for hyperlinks is that the text appears in one color when viewed on the Web (blue, for example, is the default in FrontPage). When the link has been used (to go to the destination of the hyperlink) and the text is viewed again, it appears in a different color (violet is the default color for previously viewed hyperlinks in FrontPage). This makes it easy to keep track of the hyperlinks that have been used and those that have not.
