Chapter 12. Presenting an Onscreen Slide Show > Using the Slide Show Menu Tools

Using the Slide Show Menu Tools

PowerPoint also provides some other features that you will find very useful when you are running your slide show. For example, you can turn the mouse pointer into a pen that enables you to draw on a particular slide, enabling you to quickly emphasize a particular point visually. A Meeting Minder feature enables you to take notes during the actual presentation, which is a great way to record audience questions or comments concerning the presentation as you actually show it.

These tools are found on a menu that you can access during a slide show by right-clicking the screen. Figure 12.4 shows the menu. Three of the most useful tools are discussed in the following sections of this lesson.
