Inserting Images from Scanners and Other Sources

You can also place images into your Word documents that do not currently exist as a picture or clip-art file. You can actually attach to a particular input device, such as a scanner or digital camera, and then have it scan an image or take a picture that is then inserted into your document.

Input Device Any device, such as a scanner or a digital camera, that can be attached to your computer to be used to acquire a picture.
