Chapter 24. Using the Standard Reports > The Assignment Reports Category

The Assignment Reports Category

The Assignment category of reports displays information about the assignment of resources to tasks. There are four reports in this category with names that are fairly self-explanatory: Who Does What, Who Does What When, To-do List, and O verallocated Resources (see Figure 24.24).

The Who Does What Report

As the title indicates, the Who Does What report provides information about the resources working on your project and gives a comprehensive list of which tasks they are assigned to. The information in this report is displayed in a columnar format—based on the Usage table—which shows ID, Indicators, Resource Name, and the total Work (sometimes referred to as effort). Under each resource name in Figure 24.25, there is a subchart listing the tasks the resource is scheduled to work on, including the ID and Task Name, Units, Work, Delay, Start date, and Finish date. If task notes have been added, they are displayed here as well.
