Checking for Spelling Errors

Before you show any project information to colleagues or clients, it's a good idea to run a spell check on the file. Microsoft Project has a spelling checker that you can use to verify spelling in all names, notes, and special text fields for both tasks and resources.

Using the Spelling Command

To activate the spelling checker, click the Spelling button on the Standard toolbar or choose Tools, Spelling. When Project cannot find a word in the dictionary, the Spelling dialog box appears (see Figure 12.20).
