Modifying Project's HTML Templates

In this section, you will explore some of the ways you can change the HTML templates that come with Microsoft Project 2000. You can actually modify the HTML code that is contained within a template to change several characteristics of the template's appearance, including

  • The background color of the HTML document

  • Defining a background graphic for the template

  • Adding graphic images, such as a company logo, to your Web page

  • Changing the text that appears in the title bar of your browser when displaying your Web page

  • Defining the font type, color, size, and justification of the HTML header

  • Adding hyperlinks to other Web pages on the Internet or your corporate intranet

  • Adding the capability to send an email directly from your Web page
