Glossary

Accrual method

Determines when the cost for a resource is recognized as incurred. By default, costs are prorated over the duration of the task, but you can also have them recognized at the start or finish of a task.



Actual

Tasks or assignments in the project that have actually happened, in whole or in part, and have been recorded as actual dates, duration, work, and/or cost. Contrasts with planned (scheduled or predicted) activities. Includes recorded data for tasks, resources, and assignments.
