Chapter 22. Formatting Views > Formatting the Resource Usage View

Formatting the Resource Usage View

The Resource Usage view shows the same data displayed in the Resource Graph, except that the values appear as number entries in a grid under the timescale. Figure 22.38 shows the Resource Usage view above the Resource Graph to demonstrate the similarity of the data presented. In both views, the value displayed is Work. The Format menu for the Resource Usage view includes text styles, formatting fonts, gridline formatting, and timescale formatting. As with the other views, sorting is also available on the Project menu, and page breaks can be inserted using the Insert menu. These are all topics covered previously in this chapter under their own headings. See those sections for information about using these format options.

Choosing the Details

The choices available by choosing Format, Details are some of the same value choices that were described under the Resource Graph: Work, Actual Work, Cumulative Work, O verallocation, Cost, and Remaining Availability. Select the value to display in the timescale grid by selecting one of these options.
