Chapter 28. Developing Visual Basic Macros > The ExportWorkData Macro

The ExportWorkData Macro

Another very common task you might want to code is the export of weekly hours of work from an open project file to Excel. Having your reports in Excel is useful because users can then format and adjust the report to suit their needs, and because they can then email it to others or print it. You can also email them the report rather than printing it and carrying or mailing it to them.

The ExportWorkData macro will also be easy for you to edit to export Actual Work, or many other fields, or make the export by Day or Month instead of by Week.
