Debugging Your Code

There are two parts to the debugging. First, create valid code that Project can recognize (all code needs to be typed correctly and in an appropriate syntax), and second, have code that does what you want when it's run.

Syntax Checking

When you enter code and move the cursor off a line, Project automatically verifies the line for correct syntax. For example, if you omit Then from the end of an If statement, Project generates an immediate compile error with the message Expected Then or GoTo. This feature of Project eliminates many errors that might otherwise be hard to find, before you even start testing.
