Chapter 8. Defining Resources and Costs > Defining the Resource Pool

Defining the Resource Pool

At first, you will probably define a separate resource pool in each project file. If you have multiple projects that use the same resources, however, you can design project files that use a resource pool—already defined in another project—that can be shared by all your projects. Using a shared resource pool has the advantage that Project can then show you the total demands being made on the shared resources from all projects sharing that pool.
