Creating Custom Filters with AutoFilter

A very easy way to create a custom filter is by using the Custom option on the AutoFilter list. First, turn on the AutoFilter feature by either choosing Project, F iltered For, AutoFilter or clicking the AutoFilter button on the Formatting toolbar. This displays an AutoFilter values drop-down list on each column heading. When you choose any of these, a menu will appear with a number of choices, including Custom. When you choose the Custom option, in this case from the Task Name field drop-down list, the dialog box in Figure 23.42 is displayed.
