Copying a Note onto the Desktop

You can copy a note to the Windows desktop by dragging in the normal way. If you drag with the right mouse button pressed, you can choose whether you want to copy or move the note to the desktop.

When you close or minimize Outlook, notes you've dragged onto the desktop remain there. You can right-click a note icon on the desktop to see the context menu shown in Figure 13.4, even if Outlook isn't running.
