Using Security Zones

Incoming e-mail messages and Web pages you access can contain scripts that run on your computer. While most of these scripts are useful, some may either accidentally or deliberately damage files on your hard disk. By taking advantage of security zones, you can control what happens when you receive messages or access Web pages that contain scripts. By choosing an appropriate zone for each Web page you access, you can prevent potentially damaging content from being downloaded, or receive a warning before potentially damaging content is downloaded.

You can choose among four zones:
