Sending and Receiving Digitally Signed Messages

You can set up Outlook so that the default is to send all your messages with a digital signature, or the default is to send all your messages without a digital signature. Whichever you choose as the default, you can turn the digital signature off or on for each message.

Choosing Digital Signatures as the Default

If you expect to digitally sign most of the messages you send, you should set this as a default.
