Chapter 30. Using Microsoft Mail for E-mail > Microsoft Mail Capabilities

Microsoft Mail Capabilities

Microsoft Mail provides e-mail and some collaboration facilities suitable for use by members of a workgroup whose computers are interconnected by a peer-to-peer network or small LAN. To use Microsoft Mail, one computer on the network must contain a postoffice folder that's accessible by all workgroup members. All workgroup members must have a Microsoft Mail client, such as C/W Outlook, installed on their computers.

Refer to Chapter 29, "Setting Up Microsoft Mail," for information about setting up a postoffice and adding the Microsoft Mail information service to people's profiles.
