Using Outlook to Send and Receive Faxes

You can use Outlook to send and receive faxes providing you have a fax modem and access to a phone line. Instead of creating a fax in a word processor, printing it, then lining up at the fax machine to send it, you can use Outlook to create and send a fax directly from your computer. If you have a phone number to which people can send you faxes, those faxes arrive on your computer in much the same way as e-mail arrives.
