Part IX: Appendixes > Speed Your Work by Learning Shortcuts

Speed Your Work by Learning Shortcuts

Because Outlook has a graphical interface, many people primarily use the mouse (or another pointing device) to control Outlook. It's often faster and more convenient to use a keyboard shortcut. You can speed up your work with Outlook by learning a few of the shortcuts listed in this appendix. For example, if you make frequent use of timelines, using keyboard shortcuts is often much faster than using the mouse.

Note

Many of the shortcuts perform the same, or similar, functions in other Office applications.
