Outlook contains many capabilities. You can use all of them, or just a few—it's up to you. You can install Outlook with only those capabilities you intend to use, so that Outlook doesn't clutter your disk with files you're not going to use. Also, by installing only what you're going to use, you'll minimize the time it takes to start and close Outlook.
