Going Further with Task Management

You can use Microsoft's Team Manager to extend Outlook's capabilities for working with tasks. Team Manager gives you the ability to delegate tasks to a team and to monitor the work of that team. To quote from Microsoft's Design Goals for Team Manager, "Microsoft Team Manager is a new workgroup tool that helps everyone on the team stay in sync by consolidating, coordinating, and tracking team activities." Team Manager can be integrated with Outlook.
