Sharing Items with Other Outlook Users

One way to share Outlook items with other Outlook users is to export items to a Personal Folders file so that other people can import items from that folder into their own Personal Folders fileor Exchange store. This is particularly convenient when you want to share items by way of a LAN.

It's less convenient if you can't share the file by way of a LAN because the Personal Folders file is likely to be too large to copy to a standard floppy disk and probably larger than you want to send by e-mail. In that case, you have to resort to using a utility such as WinZip to copy the file onto several floppy disks, or to using high-capacity disks such as Iomega's Zip disks.
