Chapter 33. Customizing the Outlook Bar > Changing the Appearance of the Outloo...

Changing the Appearance of the Outlook Bar

You can make the Outlook Bar narrower or wider by moving the pointer onto the border between the Outlook Bar and an Information viewer. When the pointer icon changes to a pair of vertical lines with left- and right-pointing arrows, press the mouse button and drag to the left or to the right.

Choosing Small Icons

When you have the Outlook Shortcuts group displayed, you can't see all its shortcuts (unless you have a big monitor that displays a large number of pixels). After you use the techniques described in this chapter to add more shortcut icons to a group on the Outlook Bar, you'll probably wish that more could be seen at one time.
