Troubleshooting

While working with custom views, you must remember that each view you create is for items of a specific type. If you've created a custom view for your Inbox folder, that view can only be used for Mail items. In addition to using the new view for your Inbox folder, you can also use it for your Outbox and Sent Items folders, but not, for example, for your Calendar and Contacts folders. If you want to have a similar view for various types of Outlook items, you have to create separate views for the appropriate Outlook folders.

It's also important to remember that a custom view can be made available in three ways. If you, or someone else, can't find a view, that may be because, although the view exists, it's not available in the current circumstances. You can select:
