Troubleshooting

The most likely problem you might run into when importing into, or exporting from, Outlook is that you run out of disk space due to the size of the information. If that happens, the operation aborts without losing any data. Your only loss is the time wasted.

To avoid this problem, it's good practice to find out the size of the information you're going to import or export before you begin, and compare that with the space available. You can, of course, use My Computer or Windows Explorer to find out the size of complete files and how much space is available on a disk.
